St. Joseph's Grammar School, Donaghmore - a brief overview.

St Joseph’s Grammar School is situated in the County Tyrone town of Donaghmore. Until 2003 the school was an all-girls school it then became co-educational and began accepting both girls and boys. Until 2007 the school had a large number of religious sisters teaching at the school but since then the staff are entirely lay teachers. The school has an excellent reputation for obtaining good results at both GCSE and A” level. Today the school has an enrolment of about 700 pupils and accepts 73 pupils into
year 8.
St Joseph’s Grammar School is a Catholic Grammar school and uses the new SEAG Single Entrance Transfer Test results as part of its intake criteria into year 8.
