Up until 2022 the AQE company were one of the organisers of the Transfer Tests and their test was in free-response format covering content from the Northern Ireland curriculum at Key Stage 2. The SEAG Single Entrance Test covers the same content but now is a mixture of multiple-choice and free-response questions.
