Enniskillen Royal Grammar School
Enniskillen Royal Grammar School a brief overview.

Enniskillen Royal Grammar School opened on 1 September 2016 and was formed when Portora Royal School and the Enniskillen Collegiate Grammar School were amalgamated to form the new school. The merger was not without problems as there was a lot of local opposition which eventually ended in the high court in a bid to prevent the merger. However, the high court bid failed and on 30th June 2016 both schools were closed and reopened on 1st September 2016 as the new Enniskillen Royal Grammar School. Currently operating on two sites there are plans to move to one site on the current Lough Shore site in Enniskillen town.

Enniskillen Royal Grammar School uses the new SEAG Single Entrance Transfer Test results as part of its intake criteria into year 8.
