Christian Brothers Grammar School in the town of Omagh is a very large boys grammar school with a year 8 intake of over 140. The school has a very long history and started in 1861 with 121 boys. The Christian Brothers who were instrumental in founding the school had the believe that “Education be gratuitous and the admission free.” The school continues to grow and extend its buildings and school facilities. The school has high academic standards, a long sporting tradition and offers a wide range of sports for its pupils.

Christian Brothers Grammar School uses the new SEAG Single Entrance Transfer Test results as part of its intake criteria into year 8.
