Aquinas Grammar - a brief overview

Aquinas Diocesan Grammar School is a relatively new school that was founded as recently as 1993 when the school admitted 110 pupils. The school was set up by the Diocese of Down and Connor. The school is situated on the Ravenhill Road in Belfast and has a reputation for excellent academic results. In 2018 it was ranked joint first in Northern Ireland for its GCSE results. The school also has very good A2 level results (year 14 results). Due to these and other very positive factors the school is often over-subscribed for entry into year 8.
Aquinas Grammar School uses the new SEAG Single Entrance Transfer Test results as part of its intake criteria into year 8.
